Position Overview

The Automotive Express Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance services such as oil changes and multi-point vehicle inspections to ensure customer satisfaction and safety. This role supports efficient business operations while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and upholding the highest ethical standards.

Primary Duties

Perform lube, oil, filter changes, and multi-point inspections to ensure vehicle health and accurate diagnosis.
Identify and communicate any additional vehicle service needs to management.
Maintain cleanliness of vehicles during service and ensure a safe and orderly work environment.
Achieve excellent customer service through prompt, accurate work and clear communication.
Adhere to OSHA and EPA safety regulations at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Work Environment

Job Requirements:

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is recommended but not required.
At least one year of experience as a technician's assistant or apprentice.
Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company policy.
Local state inspection license is preferred.

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in a shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, odors, fumes, chemicals, and adhesives.
Capable of lifting at least 100 pounds.
Must be able to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, and use hands regularly, with occasional kneeling, stooping, or crouching.
Vision capable of close, distance, peripheral sight and focus adjustment.
Ability to operate equipment and move vehicles safely.
