Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable Automotive Porter to support our service and sales teams by maintaining vehicle readiness and lot organization. This role is key to ensuring that our customers receive their vehicles in excellent condition, contributing to a positive overall experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead yourself and assist the team in alignment with Madison Honda's vision and mission
  • Remove vehicle protective coverings and identification tags before vehicle delivery
  • Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, or damage; report any issues immediately
  • Clean interior and exterior surfaces of new and used vehicles
  • Keep the vehicle lot clean, orderly, and organized according to dealership standards
  • Transport vehicles between storage and dealership as needed
  • Maintain building and grounds cleanliness and order
  • Assist with shop cleanup and deliveries when required
  • Install license plates on new vehicles
  • Set tire pressure for vehicles in the service lane
  • Move vehicles to support technicians and maintain service line order

Work Hours

This is a full-time position. Specific work hours will be communicated upon hiring and may vary depending on dealership needs.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle safely
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
  • Experience handling machinery safely is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor
  • Ability to perform essential job duties satisfactorily
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Willingness to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, motor vehicle record, drug screening, and credit report
  • Commitment to performing duties in a safe and responsible manner
