Position Summary

The Automotive Porter Lot Attendant is responsible for maintaining and preparing vehicles to ensure a high standard of presentation and customer satisfaction. This role involves working closely with various departments including Product Specialists, Service Managers, and Sales Managers to facilitate smooth vehicle delivery and lot management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead yourself and support the team in alignment with the company’s vision and mission.
  • Remove protective coverings and identification tags from vehicles before delivery.
  • Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, stains, debris, and damages, reporting any issues immediately.
  • Clean the interior and exterior of new and used vehicles.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly vehicle lot, moving vehicles as directed and following dealership display standards.
  • Pick up and deliver vehicles to and from storage areas.
  • Test batteries of customer vehicles in the service drive.
  • Perform general maintenance of dealership buildings and grounds as needed.
  • Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries when necessary.

Work Hours

This is a full-time, in-person position requiring regular business hours. Specific scheduling details will be provided during the hiring process.

Job Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle safely.
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
  • Proven customer service skills.
  • Ability to safely handle machinery and perform physical tasks.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job and perform all essential duties satisfactorily.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screenings, including background check, motor vehicle record check, drug test, and credit report.
