Job Description:

Madison Honda is hiring BDC Representatives for their Internet Sales team. 

BDC/Internet Sales Representatives will be responsible for handling all incoming phone calls and internet leads, as well as confirming sales appointments and performing long-term follow-up on all unsold customers (e.g., internet leads, showroom visits, and incoming calls).  BDC Representatives will strive to generate repeat business by reaching out to current customers and ensuring complete satisfaction in ownership.

A successful BDC/Internet sales professional embraces technology and understands the new how the internet is changing the car buying experience to better it for the consumer. Madison Honda receives over 2,000 internet and phone leads per month..

Job Responsibilities:

• Answer all incoming phone calls according to script and schedule a sales appointment.
• Making outbound calls 
• Log all Customer comments.
• Schedule follow-up contact if no appointment is made.
• Contact Customers using scripts to schedule appointments for Sales and Service.
• Confirm scheduled appointments. 
• Post scheduled appointments on appointment board in BDC.
• Reschedule no-show Customer appointments.
• Follow up with Sales or Service Department to determine if appointment was kept and the outcome.
• Schedule future contact as needed.
• Purify and update Customer changes in database. 
• Generate letters, postcards, texts and emails according to a pre--determined timeline to automatically schedule follow-up reminders for next contact.
• Contact Customers based on current marketing initiatives.
• Respond to Customer website requests.
• Contact Internet Customers via email and phone to schedule an appointment.
• Follow up on Internet Customer emails according to a pre--determined timeline.
• Notify necessary departments when an appointment is scheduled.
• Assist with other duties, as assigned.
• Ability to meet or exceed monthly goals.

 
Job Requirements:

 

   Successful BDC/Internet sales professionals will posses strong customer service skills, and is a hard working professional who possess strong oral and written communication skills.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous dealership BDC experience required
  • Previous Honda dealership preferred but not required
  • Previous call center and/or Internet sales experience a plus
  • Sales experience is a plus, NOT required
  • Requires strong communication skills in order to work most effectively with customers
  • Must  be Internet savvy, have good computer skills and excellent organizational skills to help keep track of all sales leads
  • Excellent follow through and follow up skills
